ABOUT THE SETTING
When the style crew at HILuxury was looking for the perfect spot to shoot this issue’s women’s fashion feature, Turtle Bay was the first place that came to mind. With miles of gorgeous beachfront, exotic foliage and recently revamped interiors, the sumptuous, yet inviting “living room of the North Shore” gave us more than enough background options to choose from. After our photo session finished, we all wished we could kick back at ‘base camp’ (one of the resort cottages facing the ocean) for just a little while longer and revel in The Life—Turtle Bay’s lifestyle concept, which imbibes the North Shore mystique of individuality and respect for its surroundings.
Among its beach cottages, villas, guest rooms and suites, visitors at the sprawling resort have plenty of lodging options to choose from. And when it comes to food and drink, you can take your pick of dining venues including oceanfront restaurant Ola, Italian eatery Leonardo’s and the sleek 21 Degrees North, which serves contemporary Hawaiian cuisine. Suffice it say, we’ll definitely be back to enjoy Turtle Bay—when we’re off the clock!
