Vespa GTV 250
Modern-day's quintessential motorscooter swings back to its original design in Vespa's GTV 250. The original Vespa prototype, which debuted in 1946, inspired the look of this vehicle, with leather seats, underseat storage and a trademark headlamp on the front mudguard. Automatic transmission and a 250 cc engine keep the Vespa GTV 250 up-to-date in current machinery. Italian Rinaldo Piaggio founded the Piaggio parent company in 1884, which created the Vespa (meaning "wasp" in Italian, in homage to its look) motorscooter line after World War II.
