SHARING “THE GOOD LIFE” is all about engaging with and supporting our local community. This issue’s HI Society section covers unique enterprises in arts and charity, and takes you inside several events around town.

One milestone recently marked in Honolulu was the launch of Halekulani’s new in-room publication, Halekulani Living. To celebrate the magazine, which highlights unique facets of Island culture, staff at the luxury resort held an intimate gathering at its Hau Terrace & Lanai. Chef Vikram Garg’s hors d’oeuvres (above) were served with cranes and boxes made of pages from Halekulani Living.
