Ward Village’s newest retail venture opens this Friday, Nov. 11, with a slew of unique-to-Hawai‘i stores and restaurants. The open floor market place is located at the corner of Auahi St. and Queen Ln. (beneath T.J. Maxx) and combines Kaka‘ako’s art culture and Honolulu’s urban shopping scene into one. Think of South Shore Market as a mix of New York’s Chelsea Market and Venice Beach’s laid back Abbot Kinney Blvd.
